What our deck cleaning service includes

A full deck cleaning service is four steps, not one. We clear and protect the surrounds, apply a wood-safe cleaner and let it dwell so it lifts grime chemically rather than by force, wash at a pressure matched to the timber, then neutralise and rinse. Optional brightening reverses the grey, and sealing locks the result in. Skipping the dwell step is why rented machines leave a furred, streaked deck.

Deck and patio cleaners for the whole entertainment area

Very few clients want only the deck done. Most Cape Town homes have timber decking running into paving, a braai area and often a pool surround, and cleaning one but not the others just moves the tidemark. Balau, garapa, pine and composite

Hardwoods like balau and garapa are dense and forgiving but silver quickly in the Cape sun. Treated pine is softer and furs if over-pressured. Composite decking should never see high pressure at all — it cleans with a soft wash and the right detergent. We identify the material before choosing a method, which is the whole difference between restoration and damage.

How often, and what it costs

Once a year suits most decks; twice for anything shaded, damp or under trees where algae returns fast. Cost tracks square metreage, timber condition and whether you want brightening and sealing. We quote free after seeing it, in writing, and the number does not move afterwards.
