Clean panels make more power
Cape Town's dry summers, south-easter dust, sea salt and birds leave a film on solar panels that cuts how much electricity they produce. A regular clean keeps your system working the way you paid for it to.
We clean panels by hand with soft brushes and clean water, never a high-pressure jet, which can damage seals and void your warranty. Windows get the same care: streak-free glass, frames and sills wiped, and we leave your garden as we found it.
Before you book
Which size should I pick?
Go by the description under each size. If your home sits between two, pick the bigger one, or the smaller one and tell us in the notes. We confirm on arrival, and if it's clearly a different size we agree the price with you before we start.
What's included in window cleaning?
The outside glass plus the frames and sills, streak-free. Inside glass, window tracks, gutters and builders' film are add-ons: mention them in the notes or ask on the day and we'll quote them after seeing the job.
How do you clean solar panels?
By hand with soft brushes and clean water, never a high-pressure jet. High pressure can force water past the panel seals and may void the manufacturer's warranty, so we keep it gentle and use no harsh chemicals.
How often should windows and solar panels be cleaned?
Inland, every three months keeps glass and panels looking and working their best. Near the sea (Table View, Blouberg, Milnerton, the Atlantic Seaboard) salt film builds up faster, so every eight weeks is worth it. Plan customers pay less for every repeat visit, and you can stop any time.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we can get onto the property. Leave the gate open or put the access details in the notes.
What if it rains, or I need to change my booking?
If the weather turns, we'll contact you to move the booking. To change or cancel, reply to your confirmation email or WhatsApp us at least 24 hours before your slot.
